The Lady Pioneers bowling team had a stellar season this year, which includes qualifying to states. On the other hand, the Jonathan Alder Boys Bowling team had a great season but faced many challenges and did not make the cut to states. The Division II State Tournament for the girls took place on Saturday, February 27 at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl.

The Lady Pioneers fought hard at the tournament, but came up short. The team score of 534 during the baker games, was not enough for the Pioneers. Varsity bowler Mackenzie Heimlich added, “It would have been really cool to make it to the top eight but we fell short. Although the outcome maybe wasn’t what we had wanted, we still tried our hardest.”

The Jonathan Alder Lady Pioneers ended up placing ninth, but plan to appear at the Division II State Tournament next year.
