As the track season is coming to an end, the members of the team are working extra hard to qualify for states. Junior Kristen Beachy says,“My favorite part about track is the people. The seniors were so welcoming and everyone got along without any drama.”

As the girls track team finished 5th in the MOAC and the boys finished 8th; both sides are disappointed to see the season come to an end. The girls 4×400 are heading to regionals to compete with a chance to make it on to states. “The coaches are very interesting, but they are funny and good people to be around,” said Beachy.

Senior Aaron Kaeser broke his foot doing high jump,as he slipped on his landing. “It’s very unfortunate that Aaron fell on his last long jump of his high school career,” said Beachy. “He had a chance to make it far, but he will not be able to finish the season.”

As track comes to an end, all of the players plan on supporting each other, whether their individual season has come to end or not in order to keep a sense of teamwork in the picture.
