Hilliard Varsity Hockey Club Update

Although Jonathan Alder doesn’t have a Hockey team, that doesn’t stop some of Jonathan Alder’s Hockey players from playing.

The past few years, Jonathan Alder students have often played on Hilliard’s club team. This season, juniors Isaac Lee and Declan Costello represent Jonathan Alder on the team.

Last Friday, November 17, the team hosted Dayton at the Dublin Chiller. Dayton entered the 3rd period up 3-0, but Hilliard didn’t back down. Hilliard managed to score twice but failed to score a third in the final 9 minutes of the game.

Hilliard High School Hockey Club fell to Dayton, 3-2.

On Sunday, November 19th, the team faced Upper Arlington at Ice Haus, the practice ice for the Columbus Blue Jackets. Hilliard took a 2-0 lead to end the first period and never looked back, defeating Upper Arlington 5-1.

Hilliard plays in a tournament on Thanksgiving weekend at the Chiller North.
