Senior Meeting

Monday, April 23, the seniors had a class meeting in the gymnasium. During this meeting, prom, the senior trip, graduation, and the remainder of the year were discussed.

Principal Michael Aurin encouraged seniors to keep up with their schoolwork and to continue to work hard. For most seniors, the incentive to work hard is the possibility of not having to take exams by finishing with a semester average of 85% or higher.

Seniors were reminded that prom will be one of their final events together as a class, along with the senior trip. The senior cookout was also discussed, where seniors will receive their cap and gowns.

The meeting certainly emphasized that the end of high school for the class of 2018 is rapidly approaching. Soon Jonathan Alder will be remembered as just a stepping stone towards the future for this year’s seniors.
