Last choir concert of the school year

On Monday May 7 the last choir concert of the school year took place in the auditoria. The students wore formal attire, allowing the girls to have a second chance at wearing their homecoming or prom dresses. This has been a tradition from years past with the prior choir director Mrs. Gorman.

Between the amazing choir performances there were soloists braving the stage. First up was Owen Masula who performed Turning Out by AJR. Second was Rebekah White who performed her own song called Masquerade. Right before show choir went on stage the duo John Coffey and Grayson Abend performed a mashup of Found/Tonight by Lin Manuel Miranda and Ben Platt. Last but not least Hunter Larrison played the guitar and sang Landslide by Fleetwood Mac. They were all stunning performances.

Show choir did something new this concert that blew the audience out of their seats. A piece called Fire by Katerina Gimon. It was made to imitate fire. It really made the concert stand out from previous ones. All the songs in general were high level and well performed. All of symphonic choir songs were collage songs.

The concert was wrapped up with the song Keep Your Lamps with all three choirs singing. It was a powerhouse when all those voices came together, and an amazing end to the school year.
