Senior Paige King has gone to Alder since kindergarten, and is involved in many different aspects of life at Alder. She is involved with volleyball, musical, show choir, symphonic choir, LEO club and Spanish club. We sat down with Paige as part of our 24 with ‘24 interview series.
Q: What’s your favorite memory of your time at Alder?
A: Honestly like any of the field days in middle school. That’s like the one thing I remember that was so fun.
Q: What are three things you can’t live without?
A: My vaseline stick, my airpods, and my cat, Grady.
Q: What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
A: I actually really love to read.
Q: How would you define yourself in three words?
A: Intelligent, methodical, creative
Q: What was your last dream?
A: I had a dream that I was lost at school and I like couldn’t find my class.
That’s it?
Yeah, I have that dream a lot.
Q: Best piece of advice you’ve received?
A: Just to live life in the moment, like don’t worry about anything that’s happened in the past or what’s going to happen in the future. Just go with the flow.
Q: If you made a documentary, what would it be about and why?
A: I feel like it would be about the middle school experience of how kids act and why they act that way on a physiological level. I feel like that’s such a big, important time for them to develop mentally. I could just talk about that forever.
Q: Last piece of content you consumed that made you cry?
A: The movie Moulin Rouge.
Q: Song you can listen to on repeat?
A: “No. 1 Party Anthem” by the Arctic Monkeys.
Q: If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be?
A: Taylor Swift. She’s famous, she has a hot boyfriend, like, she’s talented.
Q: Dream country to visit?
A: Italy.
Q: What’s the biggest surprise you’ve had?
A: Probably my mom getting our new dog in the summertime. I really did not expect her to go through with it.

A: Parasailing in Panama City on vacation.
