Transitioning into a new season gave students many opportunities to express themselves in new ways.  Fall is the perfect time to experiment with different looks.  While talking with a few students from  Jonathan Alder High School,  fall apparel appears to be the favorite. Seniors Jacquelyn Chapman and Max Johnson, junior Kyle Hustik, sophomores Rylee Griffin and Lexi Wolgemuth, and freshmen, Morgan Hess and Zayvier Beachy have all been asked their opinions about this year’s fall fashion trends

Johnson ’16: “My manager at work. I follow a few people on Instagram for ideas and what not.”

Hustik ’17: “My style doesn’t have a single inspiration.  I prefer to draw a multitude of sources.  It’s really whatever I see that I think looks good.”

Griffin ’18: “No, I’m my own celebrity.”

Wolgemuth ’18: “No, I just dress in what I think is cute.”

Hess ’19: “Skylier Beachy”

Beachy ’19: “No because I like my own look.”

Does the media have any influence on your style?

Chapman ’16: “I look at Pinterest to get ideas.”

Johnson ’16: “I mean, I would say it influences everyone. I truly feel like no one has their own style. Everyone bases something off of someone.

Hustik ’17: “I tend to stay more ‘up to date’ with my style, but that’s just because I mimic things that I think look good, so naturally I am more likely to see things up to date.”

Griffin ’18: “Yeah, it helps me know what’s in style.”
