In her time at JA, Dedra Dietrich (DeeDee) has been involved in NHS, LEO Club, Art Club, and French Club; DeeDee is the secretary of French Club. Q: What’s your favorite memory of your time at Alder?
Delana: 6th grade camp.
DeeDee: There’s gotta be a good elementary memory, meh, or there wasn’t. After football games.
Delana: Well the football games were the worst part but…
DeeDee: Specifically after football games with friends was the best part. Or having like no classes this year.
Q: What are three things you can’t live without?
DeeDee: My computer, my phone, and my bed.
Delana: DeeDee, my computer, and my TV.
Q: What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
Delana: I crochet.
DeeDee: That’s a good one, dang it. I paint.
Delana: Oh yeah you’re good at painting, you paint skateboards.
DeeDee: Yeah, I get old skateboards and sand them then paint them.
Q: How would you define yourself in three words?
DeeDee: Thoughtful, kind, and creative.

DeeDee: No cuts, no buts, no coconuts.

Q: If you made a documentary, what would it be about and why?
DeeDee: A documentary about my sister living in a small town in Ohio.
Delana: Nooooo, nooooo.
DeeDee: Come on why not.
Dedra: I’d want to do a murder mystery.
DeeDee: Ohh or maybe one about an internet mystery.
Delana: I think we should do it together.
DeeDee: Yeah if we did we would definitely make our own film company.

Q: If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be?
DeeDee: Delana.

Q:What is your dream place to visit?
Delana: Hawaii, or just somewhere tropical.
DeeDee: Bora Bora, France Polynesia, or Australia.
Delana: You’re not worried about the animals there? What about the giant spiders as big as doorways?
DeeDee: I’d love to see the spiders, but I mainly want to go surfing, and Australia is like surfing central.
Q: What’s the biggest surprise you’ve had?
DeeDee: That we were born two minutes apart and not three. That was a big surprise because our parents told us three our whole lives then we looked at the birth certificates and it was only two minutes.
Delana: When my grandparents’ dog attacked my cat. My cat’s name was Cotton, and Kipper was the attacker.
Q: What 3 people living or dead would you like to make dinner for?
Both: Lady Gaga, RuPaul, and our pappap.
Q: What was the most adventurous thing you’ve done in your life?
DeeDee: I went on a roller coaster, and I hate roller coasters, so it was pretty awful, but it was adventurous.
Delana: Going to France with our parents’ school without knowing anyone. Geez, there was so much trauma from that trip.
Q: What would you like to be remembered for?
Both: Being a good person, and activists for our beliefs.
