Q: What’s your favorite memory of your time at Alder?

A: Staying late during musical and show choir. Those nights will forever have an impact on me, especially senior cry night.

Q: What are three things you can’t live without?

A: Music, film, and books.

Q: What’s one thing people don’t know about you?

A: I collect playing cards.

Q: How would you define yourself in three words?

A: Energetic, carefree, and light-hearted

Q: What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?

A: “We must remind ourselves to look at things from another way” – Dead Poets Society

Q: If you made a documentary, what would it be about and why?

A: Probably Twenty-One Pilots. I love their music, their message, and how they make their music.

Q: What is the last piece of content you consumed that made you cry?

A: “All The Bright Places” by Jennifer Niven

Q: What is a song you can listen to on repeat?

A: Right now I’m constantly playing “Orpheus” by Vincent Lima

Q: If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be?

A: Jordan Fisher. He’s incredibly talented and I’d LOVE to see the behind-the-scenes workings on Broadway.

Q: What is your dream place to visit?

A: I would love to travel around England.

Q: What’s the biggest surprise you’ve had?

A: Getting tickets to see Twenty One Pilots in October

Q: What 3 people living or dead would you like to make dinner for?

A: My grandpa, Joni Mitchell, and Robin Williams.

Q: What was the most adventurous thing you’ve done in your life?

A: I went rock jumping a few years ago on my family vacation.

Q: What would you like to be remembered for?

A: Being a friend and a happy face in the halls.

Caitlyn Feay
Caitlyn Feay

Caitlyn Feay has been in journalism for four years, leading PR her sophomore year and serving as an editor the past two years. She also has been in choir for all four years, and participates in high school soccer and bowling. She also runs the main camera, produces live streams, and sings at her church. Caitlyn will attend Niagara University next year to double major sports management and communications.

Q: What’s your favorite memory of your time at Alder?

A: Developing all my friendships through classes each year.

Q: What are three things you can’t live without?

A: My phone, hockey, and my buffalo sabres blanket.

Q: What’s one thing people don’t know about you?

A: I’m secretly somewhat girly. I sleep with a pink pillow, a pink blanket, and play Fortnite to my pop girly playlist.

Q: How would you define yourself in three words?

A: Hardworking, sporty, kind.

Q: What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?

A: Just listening from parents and teachers to just keep trying new things. Every time I have tried something new, I’ve gotten to learn more about myself, so just try!

Q: If you made a documentary, what would it be about and why?

A: Buffalo Sabres players’ personal lives through hockey. What they do, how it’s different, etc. I would highlight the Sabres too since they’re not as common as other teams.

Q: What is the last piece of content you consumed that made you cry?

A: “Superstore”’s series finale. I was rewatching the series and the end always makes me cry because I love the show so much.

Q: What is a song you can listen to on repeat?

A: “Epiphany” by Taylor Swift. Such a good song that I can’t find many like it.

Q: If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be?

A: Probably Kevyn Adams, so I could see what it truly is like to be a general manager of the Buffalo Sabres.

Q: What is your dream place to visit?

A: Tahiti. It looks so nice, and I’ve wanted to visit a beach.

Q: What’s the biggest surprise you’ve had?

A: I think the year was 2021; my dad had surprised me with a trip to Disney World after dealing with online school during 8th grade. It was a perfect time as well because it was at 35% capacity so we didn’t have any bad wait times either.

Q: What 3 people living or dead would you like to make dinner for?

A: Owen Power, Tage Thompson, and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. My three favorite Sabres.

Q: What was the most adventurous thing you’ve done in your life?

A: I did some climbing on rocks in Hocking Hills, and got yelled at by some random lady who saw me. It was really fun though.

Q: What would you like to be remembered for?

A: I want to be remembered as someone who always tried to brighten peoples’ day and being the person that everyone wants in their lives.
