Mr. Carpenter’s fourth period class is off to an awesome start for the canned food drive!

Kaylie McDonald, Tech Editor

Jonathan Alder High School’s National Honor Society started collecting canned food items November 28th for the Plain City Food Pantry.

Every teacher with a fourth period class has a box to place the donations students bring in. The last day to donate any canned food items is Friday, December 16.

Remember that Dings & Dents cans do not count and will be thrown away. The National Honor Society had hundreds of cans last year while this year is getting off to a rough start. Their goal for this year is to beat the number of cans donated last year.

To make things interesting, the fourth period class with the most canned food items will win a pizza party! Bring in those canned food items and help those in need!
