The boys’ bowling team recently captured their fifth district title in nine years. They also advanced to their fifth State Bowling Championships. The boys failed to make the championship round at the state bowling championships and finished 11th. Freshman Jacob Schrock finished in seventh place, earning second team All-Ohio honors. Schrock rolled games of 179-267-192 for 638 series. Senior Nathan Sullivan finished 27th with 169-218-208.

The girls’ bowling team won their second straight Central District DII title, and they advanced to their third straight OHSAA State Bowling Championships. The girls were led by district gold medalist, senior Mackenzie Heimlich with 627 and silver medalist, senior Trisha Fox with 578. The team placed seventh in the qualifying round at the State Bowling Championships. They dropped a three game set to eventual champion Coldwater in the quarterfinal. The girls were led by junior Rena Kirts in 18th place, and junior Rachel Kaeser in 19th place.

According to head coach Rusty Walter, “This was one of our greatest overall team seasons. The boys and girls swept the MOAC regular season championships, MOAC tournament championships, sectionals and districts.”
