False alarm

During third period, the fire alarm went off at Jonathan Alder High School. Routine maintenance that was being done accidentally tripped the alarm. All students calmly evacuated the building, most thinking it was a fire drill. The fire department showed up and did an inspection of the building, but it was quickly determined to be a false alarm, and the students returned to their classes. Principal Mike Aurin made an announcement offering to jokingly extend the school day by 15 minutes
