Throwback Lunchtime

On December 14, Jonathan Alder High School will be having its first of many Throwback Thursday meals for lunch. Students have the opportunity to vote for what they’d like to eat that day on a recent Twitter poll, hosted by @JAFoodServ. The current options are Fish Sticks with Mac & Cheese and Peas, Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese,and finally Salisbury Steak with Mashed Potatoes.

Mrs. Tonya Grove, the Food Service Director, said that deciding to have throwback lunches happened randomly. She and some staff members came up with it on a whim while discussing their favorite old lunches. They liked the idea so much that they decided to have Throwback Thursday lunches regularly during the year.
