Plain City Housing On The Rise

Recently in Plain City, the number of housing developments has increased. Places like New California and Darby Fields are increasing the size of their neighborhoods each year as more and more people arrive.
In New California alone, there are over 137 homes being built or that are already for sale. Darby Fields is growing as well: more than 20 houses have come up for sale over the past 3-4 months. Some other places like Copperfield Homes, Jerome Village, and Woodbine Village have had a populations increase as well, with Copper Field building houses rapidly throughout the past 2 years.
There are several factors for why Plain City might be appealing for new homeowners.
Maybe it’s because of the overall education level, which is substantially higher than the average community. 30.37% of adults have at least a bachelor’s degree; the average in the United states it 21.84%. Jonathan Alder school district scored well on the Ohio report card, as they scored a grade of C in prepared for success which is good compared to other schools such as Columbus City Schools, who scored an F in the topic.
Or maybe it’s because crime rates throughout Plain City are one of the lowest in the United States. Plain City is safer than 81% of U.S. cities, and the chances of being victimized by a violent crime is 1 of 4,357, which is a crime rate of 0 per 1,000 people.
The population of Plain City is 4,357 as of 2016, meaning there is a lot of space for people to come and move in and get a well paying job. The unemployment rate is 4%, which isn’t nearly as bad as other places, such as Cleveland, Ohio with an unemployment rate that is consistently around 6%.
As Plain City grows more and more, we may have a very large community in the near future.
