Radish Writer, Satire

In Madison, Wisconsin in 1988, Tim Keck and Christopher Johnson blessed the world with the birth of the satirical newspaper, The Onion. The Onion was created with the intention to make light of serious current events. The articles found on The Onion are based on true stories about the world, country, and local areas. However, the content is almost never entirely true.

Inspired by the awful humor The Onion possesses, a writer on The Pioneer Press, whose identity shall remain hidden, brought forth The Radish, a spin-off of The Onion. The Radish may write passive aggressive open letters, satirical articles, or simply fake news. While reading The Radish, it is crucial to keep an open mind and remember none of the articles are meant to be taken seriously and should offend no one.
