How To Stay Healthy Over Christmas Break!
December 20, 2018
Its that time of year again. According to JA secretaries Rita Devine and Lisa Puckett, absences have increased as it’s getting colder and more and more people are getting sick.
Many illnesses occur most frequently in the winter months. stomach bugs, Strep Throat, and most prominently, the Common Cold are just a few illnesses that have been spreading around Jonathan Alder.
PTO has been donating things such as tissues, Clorox wipes, and an abundance of other items in order to help the students stay healthy and clean.
A couple ways you can keep from getting sick:
- Make sure to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water
- Always wash your hands before and after eating. Hand sanitizers can help, but they aren’t totally executing all the bacteria residing on your hands.
- Avoid getting close to people who are sick
- Keep your surroundings clean: Clorox Wipes are a great way to remove germs, kill bacteria and viruses, etc.
Make sure to stay clean and stay healthy over holiday break!
