Jonathan Alder Bowlers Win Against Urbana

On Monday January 7, Jonathan Alder’s Boys varsity and junior varsity, along with the Lady Pioneers varsity team, played against the Urbana Hillclimbers. The game took place at home at Plain City Lanes.

The Boys Varsity team were led by Jacob Schrock with scores of 203 and 202. The Junior Varsity Boys were led by Levi Honigford, who had scores of 186 and 202. The Varsity Lady Pioneers were led by Cierra Clark accompanied by scores of 163 and 179.

The Varsity Boys team won their match with a score of 2506-2388 making their overall record of 12-1. The Junior Varsity team kept their undefeated record with a final score of 2008-1651. Lastly, the Lady Pioneers won their match as well with a score of 2031-2014, making their overall record of 7-6.

According to athletic director, Mr.Vargo, “The pioneer bowling program had grown this season, full roster of 26 student-athletes participating. Bowlers are improving every week.”
