As the end of the year approaches, seniors are eager for graduation.

Sarah Harp is very excited for the special day.

“It’s a day we get to celebrate one chapter in all our lives and another one beginning,” said Harp. “I think that’s what makes it seem bittersweet to me because I’ve had a really great high school experience and am really sad for it to be over, but I’m also eager for what is head.”

Harp will be attending Kent State University with a possible major in education and a minor in Spanish.

Clair Grywalski is also thankful for her high school experience.

“I am thankful for the great teachers and great friends that allowed me to reach where I am at today,” said Grywalski.

Grywalski will be attending the University of Cincinnati to major in industrial design.

Seniors have many other events between now and graduation.

Awards Night will be held on May 20th at 7:00 pm at the high school. Seniors who need to be present have been notified via email.

The Cedar Point trip is on May 22nd. Seniors who have signed up for the trip need to arrive at the high school by 7:00 am and are expected to return to the high school by 10:00 pm.

Seniors have a mandatory graduation practice on May 23rd at 10:00 am; it will last until 11:45 am if all goes well. A light breakfast will be served from 9:30 to 9:50 am

Graduation will be held Sunday, May 26th at 2:00 pm in the main gym. Seniors should arrive by 1:30  pm.
