NHS Gets Wild at the Zoo

On May 2, 2019, the National Honor Society took a trip to the Columbus Zoo.  NHS took the field trip to celebrate their immense amount of volunteer hours. The group of students separated into smaller groups of their choice and walked around the zoo until 1:30 in the afternoon.

According to Junior and NHS member Kelsey McKenna, “It was really fun that we got to walk around and do our own thing. It wasn’t like we had a research paper or had to look at specific things, we got to do what we wanted.”

NHS members really enjoyed the freedom in not having to look at certain things and just getting a day off to celebrate their accomplishments.
