JA Volleyball Takes on London Rivals; Stealing the Win

On Tuesday October 4 the girls volleyball team hosted one of their biggest rivals the London Red Raiders. All three teams in the volleyball program played, JV Red and Black had a full sweep of winning 2 sets in a row. Both teams had a rocky start but by the end of the game they were dominating. Many parents and students showed up to the game, giving it an even bigger atmosphere, with them being rivals. aving a lot of support, the girls were able to pull through with wins.

At any game the atmosphere and support are always big, but especially for this one. The Black Hole filled their entire section of the bleachers, with their theme being White Out. London also had a fairly large student body show up. 

Both the Lady Pioneers and the Lady Raiders showed up to play, giving one of the biggest volleyball games of the season. The girls went head to head in every serve, with the Lady Pioneers losing the first two sets the pressure was on for them. 

They put all their strength and hard work together, winning the next three sets and giving the volleyball program a clean sweep against London. The Lady Pioneers host Bellefontaine on October 14 for their senior night.
