Alder Cheerleading: Senior Night
November 1, 2021
The cheerleaders go to every football game to support the boys and their journey through the season. Each and every game they are out there cheering on the boys and performing for the crowd. They can be seen laughing and having fun, performing layouts and stunts and showing off their skill. On October 22, the football team played Shawnee for the fall sports senior night, and the cheerleaders were recognized during this game. With having only three seniors it made for a short but sweet celebration for them.
Hannah Belau has been cheering since she was five years old, and she has been on the Alder cheerleading team since her freshman year. The advice that she’d give to incoming freshmen is “don’t take it too seriously or to heart, put your best foot forward and enjoy the time that you get to spend cheering in front of your classmates.” After high school, Belau plans on studying architectural design in college with the hopes of studying abroad.
