JAHS announces Homecoming Court

Each year students from each grade vote on who they would like to represent their class for that year’s Homecoming Court. This year’s representatives are: freshman Bailey Crownover and Caleb Howell; sophomores Rachel Kaesar and Braden McGough; juniors Lyndsey Lovejoy and Austin Fooce; senior girls Bailey Laff, Jenna Mink and Reign Yoder; and senior boys Broderick Besinger, Jonathan Peters and Michael Salzer. Being a class homecoming attendant comes with a few responsibilities like; riding together the homecoming parade on Wednesday, representing your class in Friday’s pep rally, walking across the field before the football game Friday night and sharing a dance together in front of the school at Saturday’s  Homecoming dance.

This year, the attendants are excited as ever. When asked what excites her most about making court, Mink stated, “I’m most excited to ride in the parade through Plain City. But, I’m also very proud to represent the class of 2016.” Fooce shared similar feelings, stating that, ”It’s a nice honor to be chosen by your peers to represent your class. I’m excited to walk across the field Friday before the game.” Salzer,  said, “I’m most excited for the possibility of being King! I’m also excited to be in the parade and I’m happy to be on court with my girlfriend.”

The attendants are all very excited; however, no experience will be the same!
