Averie is a sophomore and in her first year of journalism. In school, she enjoys acting in the play and musical, as well as performing in Symphonic Choir. Outside of school, she enjoys drawing, writing stories, creating characters and playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends. She joined journalism because she believes that her writing skills will be put to good use educating and informing the people of Plain City.
