AJ Delong is a member of the varsity football and wrestling teams. He is hoping to go to college for either sport, and plans on going into the workforce otherwise.
Q: What’s your favorite memory of your time at Alder?
A: Wrestling, freshman year, when I got on varsity and I placed in my first varsity tournament.
Q: What are three things you can’t live without?
A: Food, friends and family.
Q: What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
A: I’m an uncle.
Q: How would you define yourself in three words?
A: I can’t think of three. I can think of one word, like all-out, because I give 100% in everything I do.
Q: What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?
A: Don’t let your losses define you. Take them as lessons.
Q: If you made a documentary, what would it be about and why?
A: My wrestling career.
Q: What is the last piece of content you consumed that made you cry?
A: “Mockingbird” by Eminem. That song makes me cry. I don’t relate to anything in it. It’s just sad.
Q: What is a song you can listen to on repeat?
A: “family ties” by Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar.
Q: If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be?
A: Jeff Bezos. Easy.
Q: What is your dream place to visit?
A: The UK.
Q: What’s the biggest surprise you’ve had?
A: Making it to districts [for wrestling].
Q: What 3 people living or dead would you like to make dinner for?
A: If I could cook, Gordon Ramsay, Elon Musk and Will Smith.
Q: What was the most adventurous thing you’ve done in your life?
A: Going into the woods with my friends. That’s adventurous.

A: Being a hard worker.
