Q/A with Eli Turbo

Eli Turbo is a sophomore at Johnathan Alder who participates in Football and Wrestling. He shares how he’s been doing, his passion for wrestling and reflecting back on the season.

 

Q: How’s your day going?

A: My day is going good, just another day of school and practice.

 

Q:What is your favorite place that you’ve ever traveled?

A: My favorite place I have traveled to is Turks and Caicos.

 

Q: What’s the last song you listened to or movie you watched?

A: The last movie I watched is The Dictator.

 

Q: If money wasn’t an issue, what would you want to do professionally?

A: I money wasn’t an issue I would be a snowboard instructor.

 

Q: What are you passionate about?

A: I am passionate about being a state champion in wrestling.

 

Q: Why did you start wrestling?

A: I started wrestling because my dad forced me to go to practice one day.

 

Q: How is your season going?

A: My season is going great rather than getting a concussion, but we will see what happens this year in the state tournament.

 

Q: Do you plan to take wrestling further, like into college?

A: Yes I would love to take this sport into college, but it would only be if I can get offers.

 

Q: What would be one piece of advice you would give new wrestlers?

A: This sport it different from any other sport and you have to embrace the grind and discipline to make it through.

 

Q: What is your favorite memory from wrestling?

A: My favorite memory so far is being a district qualifier as a freshmen.
