Dear Jonathan Alder Community,

I am writing this to inform you of some tragic news. The beloved dinosaur known to make appearances at the occasional Jonathan Alder High School pep rallies has passed.

I understand this news may be devastating to some, this may even cause emotional trauma for a few of you, but worry not, Dino is in a better place now.

Dino suffered a series of injuries caused by children at a few summer camps and retreats he attended this past year. Medical personnel tried their hardest to revive the damages, especially those to Dino’s main airway (his wire connected to his fan), but their best efforts were not enough and Dino’s time on Earth came to a close.

Now I know many of you may be wondering: How can Jonathan Alder possibly produce future pep rallies without such a crucial team member? As of now, there is talk of a replacement Dino but the owner of the late Dino may not be able to compose herself well enough to do such a thing. Only time will tell.

As for now, we ask that you not let your school pride fade, for pep rallies can still be fun! After all, they managed to have previous pep rallies without Dino, they should be able to carry on without Dino again.
I am truly sorry to have burdened you with this tragic news so early into the school year.

A Mournful Heart,

The Radish Writer
