The Lady Pioneers volleyball team has finished their season undefeated in the MOAC, with a record of 12-0. After their big win against Pleasant High School on September 29, they claimed the title for the third year in a row.

As tournament starts next week, the draw was this past weekend. In the Central District, Bishop Hartley is ranked first, Granville is second, while Jonathan Alder is ranked third in the tournament. The Pioneers ended last season as the Division 2 State Runner Up, claiming the Central District title. Many teams will have their eyes on this Lady Pioneer team as they roll through tournament. According to senior Maddie Fuller, “We are looking forward to making a long tournament run this year.”

The Pioneers finished up conference play this past Thursday at Highland High School, where they fell short in 5 sets. They have a bye for the first tournament game, which allows the team to get more practice in before the sectional final, which will be against either Bloom Carroll or Columbus East. “We are all looking forward to ending this season on a high note, making it all the way to states,” says senior Taylor Izzard.
