Girls track day one at the CBC’s

On May 12th, the Jonathan Alder girls’ track team ran the first half of their CBC meet, which will continue on the 14th. This year, both days of the meet take place at Jonathan Alder, where senior Kailey Miller broke the school record in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.49.

Reese is a freshman and beginning her first year in journalism. This year in journalism, she hopes to spread awareness and garner more attention to things around not only the school, but also the community that she believes does not receive enough recognition as they are. Reese plays for the girl’s high school soccer team, but when she’s not occupied with that, she enjoys reading, listening to music, watching movies, and most importantly, making time to be with her family.
