The report card for Jonathan Alder High School has come out for the overall performance and achievement of the students and staff. Overall, our school scored well with a (C).

Areas we excelled in include an (A) in Graduation Rate with 99.3% of students graduating overall in 5 years, and a (B) in “Gap Closing”, our performance expectations for our most vulnerable populations of students in English language arts, math and graduation. Although in the “Achievement” and “Preparation for Success” categories we received a (C), and a (D) in the “Progress” section measuring the growth of a student based on past performance.

When asked about the score Mr. Aurin said, “Just like when you go to the doctor and they take all your measures, it is to monitor your health, and there are areas that you want to improve and there are areas you are happy with, the School Report Card is just that. We don’t want to live and die by it, but we want to use it to help us, and keep it in perspective.”
