Crazy Exciting Musical

This spring, on April 16, the Jonathan Alder student body will see the 2018 musical. This year, the musical is Seussical: The Musical, a medley of characters and stories from Dr. Seuss’s books.The production is being directed by Mr. Nicholas Mayes.

Several new things are being implemented for this musical. For one, a new sound and light board is being installed. Secondly, a turntable is being built upon the stage.

The turntable will be six inches above the stage, and the stage will have to be built up around it. Construction for this has not yet started. Mayes did not share how the turntable will be used, wanting it to be left as a surprise.

Everyone who was asked said that the cast for the Seussical is amazing. The general opinion is the characters are well cast, and there are many talented students involved.
