Seniors upset over upset

On Thursday, February 15, the entire high school attended a short volleyball tournament between all four grades and Jonathan Alder High School’s faculty.

First, the freshmen played the sophomores, and the freshmen ended up losing by a long shot. After that round, the seniors played the juniors. At first it looked like the juniors would win, but the seniors came back for the victory in the last few minutes.

The two winners, seniors and sophomores, then faced off. The match went into double overtime and ended with the sophomores winning by two points, much to the embarrassment of the entire senior class.

To end the event, the sophomores then went against a team of the high school’s faculty. The teachers beat the sophomores, ultimately winning the entire tournament.

MVP shoutouts went to Mr. Darren Clark and Mr. Ryan Swinehart.
