The Jonathan Alder softball team has finished its regular season strong with the record of 21-4. In the MOAC they finished with the record of 11-1, which won them the league. With the end of their regular season, the Pioneers moved into tournament play.

Because of all of their hard work and determination, the Lady Pioneers received a first round bye in the OHSAA Tournament. They were ranked second of the Division II softball teams in the state, behind their rival, Lakewood.

For their first tournament game, the Pioneers faced the Bexley Lions. The Pioneers were near flawless in the field, only having one error. Alder beat the Lady Lions 6-1,  leading them to continue to the District Semifinals against Hamilton Township.

After run ruling Hamilton Township, 14-0 in five innings, the Lady Pioneers moved on to the District Finals game against their other rival, Granville. The game against Granville was played on Monday, May 23 at Pickerington Central High School. The Pioneers fell to the The Grandville Lady Aces 3-0, ending their season.
