Bowling rolls through season

This year has been a good one for the Pioneers’ girls and boys bowling teams. The girls have a steady winning record in the MOAC of 12 to 2, and the boys have 13 wins and one loss. Throughout the season, the girls were lucky enough to snatch the MOAC title, making it their first time to win the MOAC. Along with the girls, the boys have had a great season coming in second at the MOAC bowling tournament.

The Pioneers had three matches last week against North Union, Pleasant and Elgin. The boys won all three matches, and the girls won against North Union and Pleasant but fell against Elgin. Although the Lady Pioneers fell to the Elgin Owls, they still came up first in the MOAC.

This season continues to be a good one for the Jonathan Alder bowling teams. The district tournament will start on February 26 for the boys, and the girls will follow on the 27.
