Stephanie Troyer is a yearbook editor. She is focused on going to Aveda for cosmetology after she graduates.

Q: What’s your favorite memory of your time at Alder? 

A: Our [tennis] match got canceled right as we got to the school, so, instead of just going home, Mr. Deeken took us to Young’s Dairy Farm.

Q: What are three things you can’t live without?

A: Okay, this is gonna sound so ridiculous, but my iPad, my eyelash curler, and maybe… Oh, Joyburst.

Q: What’s one thing people don’t know about you?

A:  My mom is Filipino and my dad is Amish.

Q: How would you define yourself in three words?

A: Funny, kind, and energetic. 

Q: What is the best piece of advice you’ve received? 

A: To go easy on myself, because, you know, it’s not like everyone’s paying attention to everything I’m doing.

Q: If you made a documentary, what would it be about and why?

A: “Law and Order Special Victims Unit.” I’m a total nerd about it.

Q: What is the last piece of content you consumed that made you cry?

A: My answer is really dumb, but “LEGO Batman.”

Q: What is a song you can listen to on repeat? 

A: “Forget It” by Blood Orange.

Q: If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be? 

A: I think maybe Ice-T. He’s a really cool guy, and he’s always getting in trouble on Twitter.

Q: What is your dream place to visit? 

A: Well, I’ve been here, but, Cebu City in the Philippines.

Q: What’s the biggest surprise you’ve had? 

A: Maybe it was when we convinced my mom to get us a dog. 

Q: What 3 people living or dead would you like to make dinner for?

A: Mariska Hargitay, because that’s the actor who plays Olivia Benson. Christopher Maloney, because those two are best friends, and I find it very interesting. And, maybe Bill Nye. I think he’s interesting.

Q: What was the most adventurous thing you’ve done in your life? 

A: Cliff diving in the Philippines.

Q: What would you like to be remembered for?

A: My friendliness.
